On June 27th, 2026, members of the Buxton Police Department joined the Boardman family and loved ones; to honor the late Tracy Kay Boardman and recognize the extraordinary gift she bestowed upon the Buxton Police Department and the Town of Buxton.

We are honored to announce this additional donated police cruiser has been added to our fleet in memory of Tracy. In keeping with the spirit of this generous donation, the vehicle was placed into service that very day and will be assigned to patrol to begin serving the community Tracy cared so deeply about.

This cruiser represents far more than a vehicle—it is a lasting tribute to Tracy’s life and legacy. Each time it responds to a call for service, patrols our neighborhoods, or assists a member of our community, it will serve as a reminder that one person’s memory can continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

The addition of this cruiser will significantly enhance our department’s ability to carry out its daily responsibilities, strengthening our capacity to provide reliable, professional service to the residents of Buxton. It also ensures our officers have the equipment and resources necessary to perform their duties safely, effectively, and at the highest level of service. We are sincerely grateful for this thoughtful donation and the opportunity to honor Tracy’s memory in such a meaningful and lasting way.
